Shop Wise Buys Support Lydia Place

Wise Buys continues to be an important component
in the volunteer efforts supporting Lydia Place. A staff
of 34 women and one man(!), holding regular or
substitute positions, keeps the store open for business
six days a week. Sales have steadily increased over
the years and the community as a whole has been very
generous with contributions. The volunteer hours add
up to approximately 4023 hours per year, which translates
into $86,977 worth of in-kind donations and the profits
make a significant contribution to the Lydia Place budget. |
